RizzDate uses OpenAI as its third-party AI service provider for generating coaching suggestions, message recommendations, and rationale explanations.

Data Transfer Mechanism for EEA and UK Users
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, conversation content transmitted to OpenAI is transferred under appropriate safeguards including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- UK International Data Transfer Addendum (UK IDTA) for UK transfers
- OpenAI's Data Processing Addendum (DPA) under Article 28 GDPR
OpenAI processes API inputs as a subprocessor under our instructions and applicable data processing agreement.
Model Training Commitment
OpenAI has committed that data submitted through the API is not used to train or improve OpenAI's general models, as stated in their API Data Usage Policies. RizzDate selects providers that offer this commitment for API usage.
Equivalent Protection
OpenAI provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in the RizzDate Privacy Policy (/en/privacy) and required by Apple's App Store Review Guidelines. Safeguards include OpenAI's Data Processing Addendum, Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK IDTA where applicable), encrypted API transmission, and OpenAI's commitment that API inputs are not used to train or improve its general models.
Before conversation content is sent to OpenAI for the first time, the RizzDate app displays an in-app consent screen (Accept / Decline). Coaching features that call the API remain blocked until you Accept.
