RizzDate — AI Dating Coach

Third-party AI disclosure: Your conversation data is sent to OpenAI. When you use AI Coach, Message Writer, Profile Review, or related coaching features, the conversation text and context you enter are transmitted to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) for the purpose of generating coaching suggestions, message recommendations, rationale explanations, and profile-review feedback. This disclosure appears in this Privacy Policy (not only in the Terms of Service). Full details: Section 7 and /en/privacy/ai-provider.

1. Who We Are

RizzDate is developed and operated by ICI Tech Teknoloji A.Ş. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a technology company registered in Turkey.

What RizzDate is: RizzDate is a personal AI coaching tool that helps you craft better messages, understand why communication works, and build confidence. It is not a dating app, matchmaking service, or social network. It works alongside platforms like Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, Instagram, and WhatsApp — it does not replace them.

2. Conversation Content and Third Parties — Read This First

RizzDate's core function involves processing conversation content you share with the app. Before using the app, understand the following.

You may paste other people's messages. When you use features like AI Coach or Message Writer, you may enter messages that other people (your matches, friends, dates) have sent you. Those messages contain third-party personal data. We process this content only to provide the coaching service to you.

Your data is sent to OpenAI — for coaching responses. Conversation content you enter is transmitted to OpenAI via API for the purpose of generating coaching suggestions and related AI responses. The app asks for your explicit Accept/Decline consent the first time you use AI coaching — not only in this Privacy Policy. See Section 7 for details.

You are responsible for what you share. You should share only what is necessary for the coaching request. You are responsible for ensuring you handle other people's messages in a way that respects their privacy and any applicable law.

Context Memory stores conversation history. If you enable Context Memory, past conversation context is stored to personalize future coaching. See Section 4 for details.

3. Data We Collect

Account Information: Email address, password (one-way hash), optional display name and profile photo. An account is required to use RizzDate.

Conversation and Coaching Content: Messages and conversation context you input when requesting coaching suggestions. This content is processed by our AI provider to generate responses. It is also stored locally and in the cloud as part of your coaching history.

Context Memory Data: Conversation history and preferences you store to help the app provide more personalized coaching over time.

Coaching Outputs and Interaction Data: Suggestions generated for you, tone selections, rationale content displayed, your choices and interactions with suggestions.

Confidence Score and Progress Data: Your confidence score, weekly progress, daily Rizz Trainer completions, 30-day challenge progress.

Profile Review Data: Dating profile content you share for optimization feedback.

Date Planner Entries: Notes and plans you create for upcoming dates.

Subscription and Purchase Data: Subscription tier and status, purchase date, renewal date, transaction ID. We never receive your payment card details.

Device and Technical Data: Device type, OS version, app version, IP address (truncated), time zone, crash logs.

Push Notification Data: Device push token if you grant permission.

Communications Data: Email and message content from support contacts.

Conversation content involving romantic relationships, dating situations, and personal emotional context is sensitive personal information. We treat it with appropriate care and do not use it for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.

4. Context Memory

Context Memory is a feature that stores conversation history and coaching preferences to make future coaching more relevant to your situation.

When enabled: past coaching sessions and context you have saved are stored on our servers and used to personalize new suggestions. When disabled or cleared: stored context is deleted from our systems within 30 days. You can clear all Context Memory at any time via Settings → Memory → Clear All. Disabling Context Memory means each coaching session starts fresh without prior context.

5. How We Collect Your Data

Data is collected directly from you when you register, enter conversation content, make coaching requests, and use app features. Technical data is collected automatically during app use. Subscription data is received from Apple or Google upon purchase confirmation.

7. AI Service Provider — How Your Content Is Processed

RizzDate uses OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) as a third-party AI service provider via API to generate coaching suggestions, message recommendations, rationale explanations, and profile-review feedback.

What data is sent

When you use AI Coach, Message Writer, Profile Review, or related coaching features, we transmit:

• The conversation text and context you type or paste for that request
• Optional dating-profile text you submit for Profile Review
• Tone or instruction settings you select for that request

We do not send your password, payment card details, push token, or your full account history with each request. Only the content needed for that specific coaching request is sent.

How this data is collected

This content is collected directly from you when you type, paste, or submit it in the app. It is not scraped from dating platforms and is not collected in the background.

Where it is used

The content is sent to OpenAI's API solely to generate a coaching response that is returned to you in the app. OpenAI processes it as a subprocessor under our instructions. We do not use this content for advertising.

In-app consent

Before your content is sent to OpenAI for the first time, the app displays a consent screen that states which data is sent, that it is sent to OpenAI, and asks you to Accept or Decline. Features that call the AI provider stay blocked until you Accept. You may withdraw this consent later in Settings → Privacy; after withdrawal, new AI requests are not sent.

Equivalent protection

OpenAI provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and required by Apple's App Store Review Guidelines. This is supported by OpenAI's Data Processing Addendum, Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK IDTA where applicable), encrypted API transmission, and OpenAI's commitment that API inputs are not used to train its general models. 8. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal data or conversation content. We do not use your conversation content to train our own AI models. We do not share conversation content with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID). We do not facilitate actual connections between users — RizzDate has no matchmaking or social features. We do not use manipulative or pickup-artist tactics in coaching suggestions. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18.

10. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share data only as described: with OpenAI (conversation content for coaching requests); with infrastructure and hosting providers (account and cloud sync data); with Apple or Google (subscription processing); with customer support providers (handling your requests); with financial and legal advisors (accounting and compliance); with courts and regulators (lawful requests); with potential acquirers under strict confidentiality (due diligence). We share conversation content with marketing partners only with your explicit consent.

11. International Data Transfers

ICI Tech Teknoloji A.Ş. is based in Turkey. Our AI service provider and infrastructure providers may operate internationally. All international transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards per KVKK Article 9, including standard contractual clauses. AI provider transfers are governed by that provider's applicable data transfer mechanisms.

12. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after deletion. Conversation and coaching content is retained for the duration of your account plus 1 year after deletion. Context Memory data is deleted within 30 days when you clear it or delete your account. Confidence scores and progress data are retained for the duration of your account plus 1 year. Subscription and transaction records are retained for 10 years per Turkish commercial law. Support communications are retained for 3 years. Crash logs are deleted after 12 months.

Account deletion: server-side data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of confirmed deletion.

13. Security

All data in transit uses TLS 1.2+ encryption. Server-stored data is encrypted at rest. Conversation content transmitted to the AI provider uses encrypted connections. Context Memory and conversation history are protected with access controls. Regular security assessments are conducted.

14. Push Notifications

RizzDate may send coaching session reminders (opt-in), daily Rizz Trainer challenges (opt-in), weekly progress summaries (opt-in), and transactional messages (no opt-in required). Manage in Settings → Notifications.

15. Children's Privacy

RizzDate is for users aged 18 and older. Dating and romantic communication content is not appropriate for minors. Contact app@icitech.com.tr if you believe a child has submitted data.

16. Your Privacy Rights

You may access or correct your data in-app or by contacting app@icitech.com.tr. Delete your account via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Clear Context Memory via Settings → Memory → Clear All. Export your data via Settings → Privacy → Export (where available). Withdraw AI-provider consent via Settings → Privacy (new AI requests will not be sent). Withdraw marketing consent via Settings → Privacy → Marketing Preferences. We respond to all requests within 30 days, free of charge.

17. EEA and UK Users

If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR applies. Read our GDPR Privacy Notice at /en/privacy/gdpr for full GDPR details including AI provider transfer mechanisms, supervisory authority contacts, data portability rights, and Article 22 automated decision-making information.

18. Changes to This Policy

Material changes are notified at least 14 days in advance. Current version always at /en/privacy.
